As mentioned before, January is our coldest and snowiest month. However, this January will go down as the third warmest on record. (The warmest ever was 1932, followed by 1880).

January snowfall for greater Cleveland is usually around 17 inches, but this month has barely produced 5 inches of snow.

We did have one day with a high of 60. While not typical, it isn't rare. Last Janaury, which was the third snowiest ever, had a few days during the month with highs in the mid and upper 60s.

Normal highs for the majority of the month are in the lower 30s, and more than 80% of the days this month exceeded normal.
