While we continue to watch Wilma as she heads towards Florida, a new tropical storm has formed. It is located to the south of Puerto Rico and the Domincan Republic, and has been named ALPHA. Wilma was the final name on the 2005 Atlantic storm list, and we now go to the Greek alphabet to name any future storms.

Alpha becomes the season's 22nd storm, something that has never happened in weather record history. Alpha has been weakening, and should dissipate over the next few days.
