We hit 90 degrees again Thursday at Hopkins airport, marking the 20th time this year we've hit or surpassed 90 degrees.

In a ''normal'' summer, we typically hit 90 or higher about 8 to 9 times. Last summer, we only achieved a 90-degree high once.

The most 90-degree days occurred in 1952 and 1955 with 37 days. We had 36 ninety-degree days in 1953 and 1988.

Since May 1: 6.32'' (-5.27" below normal)
